This vintage photograph shows the back of the Agricultural Pavilion at 15th between M and N Streets. The grounds of Capitol Park are in the foreground, and what little there was of the eastern part of the city is in the distance. There was a lot less to the city of Sacramento when this pavilion was new in the late 1880's. The original structure at 6th and M Streets stayed in use until about 1914 and was referred to as "the old pavilion" until it was demolished.
