Railroad employees and officials of the May 23-28, 1922, "Days of '49" celebration pose beside SP steam locomotive No. 1, "C. P. Huntington." The third figure from the left, wearing a straw hat, has been identified as Charles Reed Dye Jones. To his right is John Baxter Rogers (1850-1940), a toolmaker and later a Sacramento police chief. The "C. P. Huntington" is now on display at the California State Railroad Museum.
