The Sacramento Elks Lodge #6 issued a beautiful souvenir edition in 1920 to celebrate a state-wide reunion and members of the club and local businesses jumped at the chance to take out advertisements in the book. Here the Palace Laundry at 13th and R Streets proudly poses its fleet of trucks and drivers in the hopes of cleaning up when new customers seeking starch surrender to its service.
