This undated, multifold brochure from the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce contains fifteen views and scenes of the city and the surrounding area when hotels now long-demolished were brand new, the city ran on electricity and horsepower and Fair Oaks and Orangevale were still farms and orchards. The Sacramento Chamber of Commerce took an active part in much of what took place in the city. The "auxiliary" building shown here was constructed in 1909 on Second Street near H before the Chamber of Commerce moved to its current location on Seventh Street.
