There's something almost surreal about this ad for a leather sales store in Sacramento ca. 1910. All manner of transportation appears in this inventive montage where the capitol building is adjacent the train station and the people and vehicles in the background are all drawn. The central figure is perhaps the most intriguing - a close inspection indicates that the head on the lady traveler was pasted onto another ad or photo of a woman and her luggage.
