This joint effort by the Board of Supervisors and Exposition Commissioners of Sacramento County from 1915 is a wonderful example of the promotional brochures issued by most California counties to draw visitors and new neighbors to the Golden State. Two well-dressed ladies pose on the steps of what this book describes as one of a group of "picturesque homes in Sacramento County" with a vintage automobile at the ready to whisk them away on their day's excursion.
