The ANNUAL STATISTICAL REPORT FOR SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA - FISCAL YEAR 1924-1925 is a wealth of information and photos. A pair of automobiles on the levee road set this scene in the 1920's (ca. 1924) on the Sacramento River, possibly at Freeport. The packing sheds stored the goods moved to Sacramento, San Francisco, and the rest of the state by rail and boat.
