An "Electrical Carnival" on 2nd Street in 1905 turned out the crowds, including a big delegation from the Native Sons of the Golden West. Buggies and carriages converge on the electric car lines, which terminate just beneath the electric sign. The first building on the right is the Shasta Water Works, and the first small building to the left is the waiting room for P. G. & E. street car passengers.
