Horses hitched to their vehicles patiently pass the time in front of the I. O. O. F. Building at 9th and K Streets. The Capitol Lodge of the Odd Fellows dates back to June 10, 1859 and remains a fixture in the region. The card is postmarked 1919 but may reflect an earlier time.
