The Natomas News was the house organ of Natomas Consolidated of California and featured fact- and photo-filled articles about current achievements in land development. The back and inside covers show the company holdings in relation to the Sacramento River and the railroad lines, including land reclaimed and irrigated by them. The photographs show some of the giant dredges and drag-line excavators used by laborers and heavy equipment operators to reclaim 60,000 acres and convert many of them to productive farm land.
