Pedestrians, bicyclists, automobiles, electric trains and even horse-drawn buggies and wagons flow up and down J Street ca. 1920. The scene here was taken at J and 5th Streets looking west and features buildings torn down to make way for an interstate highway and the historic "Old Sacramento" district. The large building on the left is the Traveler's Hotel.
