An unnamed bare-backed steer-tamer straightens out the hairs on this fellow's tail while all four feet leave the ground in an effort to shake the rider's grip. This undated shot of what appear to be cowboys in ten-gallon hats watching a laborer in cap and workshirt put his animal through its paces may have been taken at the State Fairgrounds circa 1930.
